One of our key partners, Eternal Power, has been awarded the 2026 German Sustainability Award (Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis) — one of Europe’s most prestigious honours for corporate sustainability and transformation. Eternal Power received the award as winner in the “Fuel Industry” category, prevailing in the final against major industry players Linde and Neste.
The award recognises Eternal Power’s pioneering role in the development of scalable, large-scale green hydrogen projects, and its contribution to the sustainable transformation of the international energy supply. The expert jury praised Eternal Power’s integrated “one-stop-shop” model that spans the full value chain from renewable generation to hydrogen derivatives, as well as its ability to drive the market ramp-up of renewable energy sources in a unique and ambitious way.
These same capabilities form a critical part of the Pite Green Methanol project, where Eternal Power brings much of the hydrogen expertise that underpins our e-methanol production process. The company’s international project pipeline, rapid scaling approach, and commitment to industrial decarbonisation — especially in shipping, steel and chemicals — directly reinforce the technological and strategic direction we are jointly pursuing in northern Sweden.
